  1. There is no day like a snow day!  You are never too old to be excited for snow days!  
  2. When you are happy, people around you feel happier.  
  3. Nothing is more comforting than to hear your mom’s voice, especially when you're sick.
  4. Look forward to something.  
  5. You can't be grateful and grumpy at the same time.  Be GRATEFUL!
  6. People are put in your path for a reason.
  7. Relationships are as important as air.  Soak up the people you are with when you are with them.  If you wait until people are sick, old, and tired you miss the memories.
  8. Give someone a 10 second hug every day!
  9. Money is not worth worrying about.  You can focus on it, stress out about it, or just let go!
  10. You get good at what you spend time with.  Think about how you spend your minutes.
  11. Family time must be protected like gold.
  12. Fret not! It is what it is.  Just roll with it.
  13. A homemade card says it all.
  14. Sunrise and sunsets are amazing.  Take time to enjoy them.
  15. UNPLUG - I mean it!  
  16. Too much of anything is BAD.
  17. Vote with your feet if you get an uh-oh feeling in your tummy!
  18. Not all people who you think are a friends are friends. Without trust there is no friendship.
  19. If you can read, you can cook.  
  20. Watch for grace filled moments, they are everywhere.  
  21. PLAY! Be silly and have fun, even when you are a grown up!
  22. Dream, share your dream, make your dreams come true.
  23. If you eat right, you will feel good. Good food doesn’t always taste good and bad food doesn’t always taste bad.  For example, spinach tastes bad, but is good for you, but cookies taste good and are bad for you!  So, eat things that are good, even if they taste bad.
  24. Making peanut brittle is hard work, enjoying it with family at Christmas is priceless.
  25. Sleep is a good thing.  If you aren’t getting enough, then something else needs to go so you can do it more.
  26. Start a tradition.  
  27. My dad is my hero.
  28. Read, read, read. Have a read and feed with your family.  Popcorn, blankets, and books are a great combo. Snuggle and read!
  29. The challenges in life push you to grow.
  30. Be proud of who you are!  You are the best YOU there is!
  31. You can always revise your work and revise your life.
  32. You grow most when you fail. Failing is necessary to learn.    
  33. Traveling helps you grow, learn, and be inspired. Remember the one amazing thing from the trip and let go of all the crazy things that happen along the way.
  34. There are always people there to knock you down no matter how old you get.   
  35. Spending time with your children is the best gift you can give them.
  36. Doing a kind act for someone takes a little time, but makes a lasting impact! People remember how you make them feel.  
  37. If the national weather service has issued a T-storm warning, not a good idea to go biking.
  38. Make time for a SLOW DAY! Eight full hours without any PLAN!
  39. Dates nights are necessary, even when you are married.
  40. Smiling is a simple way to make a big difference.
  41. Hot chocolate and homemade cookies make a winter day complete.
  42. Most things in life are meant to be enjoyed, not videotaped or photographed.
  43. Make a memory every day.
  44. When you put someone else’s needs above your own, you have grown up.
